Fun Canadian Fact

The Apology Act was passed in 2009 to make apologies inadmissible in court. This is a result of Canada’s frequent use of the word “sorry”, so it means that any apologies are merely an expression of sympathy or regret, rather than an admission of guilt or fault.

Only in Canada, eh?
